In addition to in-class work, throughout the program students apply their classroom learning to clinical practice.  Clinical instruction is scheduled to allow the student maximum opportunities to integrate theory into practice and to perform the skills required to practice as an LPN.  Students are placed in a variety of settings that include:  Long Term Care, Rehabilitation Centers, Hospitals and Health Centers, Physicians Offices, Schools, and Community Settings.

Distance to clinical sites may be a far as 40 miles from the campus, not the students home.  All students will have to travel and the distance may exceed 40 miles depending on where you are traveling from.  Clinical placements are determined by learning needs and course objectives and NOT convenience.  Students are required to provide their own transportation to and from the clinical sites.
